Introducing Dallas Indie Dance Fest

The second Dallas Indie Dance Fest (DIDF) is here—and it’s putting Dallas on the map.

Produced by Agora Artists, DIDF is a new platform for our city’s resident dance makers. Showcasing original works by local choreographers across rotating programs, this festival celebrates the wide range of talent shaping contemporary dance in Dallas, from collegiate artists and emerging freelancers to seasoned choreographers and local companies.

Why “Indie”?

Because independent dance deserves a spotlight.
DIDF uplifts the voices that are not typically heard — choreographers working outside of major organizations, artists self-producing on shoestring budgets, visionaries developing work in studios, garages, and community spaces.

This festival is about visibility, connection, and honoring the rich mosaic of dance that thrives across Dallas.
